Course #2: Shaping Human Systems

Unaware of Human Systems, They Shape Us - Learn to Shape Them Instead! Three Modules

Human systems have a powerful influence on our behavior, and we don't even notice it! That's because we neither see nor understand them. When we can, we gain the ability to influence and manage them. Think about those meetings that are so often a waste of time! Think about those teams that a Harvard Business Review article says are dysfunctional 75% percent of the time.

Human Systems is a new term for many. Yet, we are all members of human systems. The teams we are on at work, the families of which we a part, the friends we hang out with are all human systems. And, in the form of small groups or teams, they are the driving force of change in human society. Margaret Mead said it best: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.”

As a leader your success depends on the success of your teams, your human systems. Learning how to effectively influence and manage human systems is an important skill to learn
